Aeropostale is a specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories, principally targeting young women and men. The company is headquartered in Lyndhurst, New Jersey and has nearly 900 stores in the United States and Canada.
We were approached by Alix Partners, a consulting firm, specifically to cut costs as much as possible and the cheapest vendor would win. They were also looking to replace their entire fleet, but were having credit challenges.
We created an adaptive solution and structured our contract without the inclusion of initial hardware replacements – a hard cost savings of nearly 40%. Aeropostale saw value in our reporting, account management, and our consultative approach. Additionally, the fact that we are not a manufacturer gave us as a competitive edge.
